⚠Please make sure before engraving:
Follow the user manual to install ComMarker Studio and connect the engraver to your computer.
Remove the lens cap.
Power on the engraver.
Note:
To avoid interruptions during engraving, disable your computer’s sleep settings or make sure it remains active until the process is complete.
1.Set up ComMarker COX in ComMarker Studio and verify lens selection.
Troubleshooting: If unsuccessful, please refer to the "Preparation Before Engraving" section to complete the startup check.
2. Place a wood board from the material pack and ensure the left red dot lands on the surface.
Note:
To protect your device, please place a backing board beneath it before focusing. The board should be flat and opaque. You may also purchase compatible Cutting Panel or a Metal Sheet Holder available at ComMarker UV & Fiber Laser Engravers | Industrial Precision Engraver
3. Click the “Focusˮ button to set the autofocus. Once focusing is complete, a confirmation window will appear.
Troubleshooting: If focusing failed, please refer to the "Focus Readjust Needed with ComMarker Studio" section for detailed diagnosis and solutions.
4. Click the “3D Relief” module.
5. Import your STL file from the USB Drive through “Import”.
6. You will see a white rectangular area represents the maximum engraving workspace. 、
A brown preview model shows the expected engraving result.
A yellow outline indicates the boundary of the relief engraving.
The machine will engrave within this boundary, leaving the raised shape that matches the brown preview model.
7. Use Move and Rotate to adjust the model’s position and orientation. Make sure the pattern to engrave is landed on the X-Y plane.
Use Model Size to adjust the model size.
Use Frame Settings to define the outer frame shape.
Use Spacing to adjust the frame size.
8. Input the engraving setting

9. Click Preview and check the engraving area. If you want to adjust the size, stop the preview, return to step 6 above and adjust the engraving size
10.Once the preview is confirmed, Click Start to begin engraving.
Note:
The Deflecting process before engraving may take several minutes. Please do not exit or interrupt the process during this time.
