Typical Symptom:
When doing subsurface engraving with the Omni X, the actual engraved model appeared higher or lower compared with the setting in the software.
Possible Cause:
Refractive index variation of the crystal causes the laser focus point to shift.
Steps to Resolve:
Draw or import a simple pattern in ComMarker Studio.
Focus on the engraving bed. Then click Start to engrave.
Note:
If you can't see any mark on the glass, try lower or raise the laser head until you can see clear marks.
When the engraving is finished, use the Z-axis function to raise the laser head for 10mm.
Click Start to perform the engraving again.
Measure the distance between the two engraving results.

In the 3D Glass model, input 10mm in the Axis Depth, and the distance between the two engraving result in the Calibration Depth section.
