Typical Symptom:
When you click Start, the machine engraves at an incorrect size after you’ve replaced the lens.
Possible Cause 1:
The “Field lens” option in the settings does not match your lens type.
Steps to Resolve:
On the right corner of the ComMarker Studio interface, check the Field Lens setting.
-
Verify that the correct lens option is selected:
For a 70 mm lens, make sure Field Lens A is selected.
For a 150/250 mm lens, make sure Field Lens B is selected.
Possible Cause 2:
The lens parameters stored in the software do not match the machine’s actual lens data.
Steps to Resolve:
-
Go to Menu → Param and click “Load parameters” to save the lens data from the machine.
Note:
If the machine’s lens data was previously modified or corrupted, this method might not work.
In the latest versions of ComMarker Studio, lens data is automatically loaded during installation, so this step is usually unnecessary.
However, for earlier versions, or if the parameters were not saved successfully, this method can still be used to load the correct lens data.
