Troubleshooting “Focus Readjust Needed” in ComMarker Studio

Typical Symptom:
After clicking Focus, a message pops up:

“Focus completed, the device is not at the optimal focal length, please readjust.”

Possible Cause 1:
The focus sensor is out of its working range.

Note:

5W laser: sensing range 120–280 mm

10W laser: sensing range 100–400 mm

Possible Cause 2:
The focus indicator (red dot) does not fall on the surface of the workpiece.

Steps to Resolve:

Solution 1: Click "focus" again.

If this doesn't work, try solution 2.

Solution 2:

1. Slightly raise or lower the laser head.

2. Click Focus again until the software detects the correct focal point.

3. Verify that the red dot falls on the surface of the workpiece within the correct sensing range for your laser.
