Follow the user manual to install ComMarker Studio and assemble the machine with the computer.
Remove the lens cap.
Power on the engraver.
1. Turn on ComMarker Studio. Click on “Textˮ then click the canvas.
Note:
You can Click “Fillˮ in the top-right corner to convert the text into a solid-filled engraving.
2. Place your material on the work platform.
Note:
Ensure the red sensor dot lands on the surface of the material.
3. Click the “Focusˮ button in the bottom-right corner of the interface to start autofocus. Once focusing is complete, a confirmation window will appear.
Note:
If your material is transparent, place a piece of paper on the engraving area so that the red dot lands on the paper surface. Then perform the focusing operation.
4. Refer to Appendix 1 and input the engraving settings based on the material you've placed on the platform.
Note:
If the settings panel does not appear, select the design from the Graphics list to activate it.
5. Place the preview helper on the material, then click “Previewˮ to check the engraving area.
Tips:
If the “Preview Contourˮ is Clicked, preview will show the outline of the processing objects.
If the “Preview Contourˮ is Unclicked, preview will show the rectangle border of the processing objects.
6. Once the preview is confirmed, remove the preview helper. Click “Start (F2)ˮ to begin engraving.
Note:
Please ensure you are wearing protective glasses while the laser is operating!
7. Finish and review
After engraving, wait for the laser to stop and remove the material to check the result.
Tips:
If the engraving result is unsatisfactory, refer to Appendix 2 and perform a material test to find the optimal settings for your material.
If you are engraving transparent materials, such as glass, and the result is unsatisfactory, try lifting the laser head by 2–3 mm. This issue may be caused by the material's refractive index.
