It is recommended to copy and paste the files of the USB drive to the computer desktop or other computer disks.
For windows:
1) Open the folder “ComMarker Softwareˮ and double click the installation file “ComMarker_Studio Installer (For Windows)ˮ to launch the setup wizard.
Note:
Click Yes if you are asked "Do you allow this application to make changes to your device?"
2) Follow the on-screen prompts, clicking “Nextˮ or “Installˮ as prompted until finished. A desktop shortcut will be automatically created upon successful installation.
Note:
If the ComMarker_Studio Installer fails to complete installation, please refer to the green version software installation on Appendix 1 for guidance.
For MAC:
1) Open the folder “ComMarker Softwareˮ and double click the installation file “ComMarker_Studio Installer (For MAC).dmgˮ to launch the setup wizard, and drag the “ComMarker_Studioˮ icon to the “Applicationsˮ folder.
Note:
When you encounter a security warning stating "ComMarker_Studio'' cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified", simply click "Cancel".
Then navigate to “System Preferencesˮ →“Security & Privacyˮ where you'll find an "Open Anyway" option - confirm by clicking "Open" in the subsequent dialog to launch the application while bypassing macOS's developer verification safeguards.
2. Open the software
1)Double click the shortcut “ComMarker_Studioˮ on the desktop.
Note:
Click Yes if you are asked "Do you allow this application to make changes to your device?" Check “I am aware of the above matters, have read and agreed to the Disclaimerˮ and click “Agreeˮ.
English is the default language. Click “Menuˮ > “languageˮ to change the language if necessary
2) Click “Menuˮ →“Paramˮ→ “Load parametersˮ to load all of the parameters from the motherboard to the software.
Note:
If using a 150×150mm lens, please click "Device Setting" →"Other", enable "Use B-field lens" and click “Confirmˮ, after replacing the lens.
3)Now, the software is ready for use. You can enter "Text", "Image" or "Vector" as shown in the figure below. It is recommended to select the text to test first.
3.Place the material and perform the focusing
Place the material to be engraved on the workbench, ensuring it is properly aligned beneath the red sensing spot (sent from the auto-focus sensor).
Then click the “Focusˮ button (located at the bottom-right UI corner) to activate auto-focusing.
Note:
If the best focal length saved in the software has been mistakenly modified or deleted, please click “Device Settingˮ→ “Fieldˮ and re-enter the following focal length values.
The optimal focal length of this machine is ___________ mm (70×70 lens) and ___________ mm (150×150 lens), and the measuring distance is the length from the inner sensor to the surface of the engraving material.
4. Preview the processing area and marking test
Place the preview helper on the material, then click “Previewˮ to visualize the processing area.
Note:
Please make sure that the indicator light of the laser head is solid green, indicating that the laser source is ready to preview and mark.
After preview confirmation, remove the preview helper, and close the safety door. Then click “Start(F2)ˮ to begin engraving.
Appendix 1: Green version software installation
1)Open the folder “ComMarker Softwareˮ→ “Othersˮ→ “Green Version ComMarker Studioˮ
2) Please manually install both “CypressDriverInstallerˮ and “vc_redist.x64ˮ by double-clicking each file and following the prompts.
Install the “CypressDriverInstallerˮ:

Click Yes if you are asked "Do you allow this application to make changes to your device?"
Install the “vc_redist.x64ˮ:
Note:
Click Yes if you are asked "Do you allow this application to make changes to your device?"
If you encounter the error "Setup Failed" when installing "vc_redist.x64", it indicates that your computer has already installed Visual C++.
Simply click "Close" and ignore this step of the installation. This will not affect the use of the software.
3) Open the folder “ComMarker_Studio for Omni X (70×70 + 150×150 lenses) and double click the software “ComMarker_Studioˮ, which can be used directly.
Note:
The default parameters of the software are for a 70×70mm lens. If you are using a 150×150mm lens, please go to "Device Setting" "Other", enable "Use B-field lens", and click "Confirm" after replacing the lens.
