Please provide your machine model, SN code, and a description of the issue you're experiencing. 

ComMarker technical support will do their best to resolve the issue.

 

Note:

Please note that the images in this guide is for reference only. The specific data might vary based on the lens you are using.

With EzCAD

Please make sure you are using EZCAD launched from the folder corresponding to the lens focal length

If not, please turn off the current EzCAD and launch from the matching folder.

If the error still occur, please select "Parameter (F3)", tick "Use the Correction File", click , select the matching file ending in .cor in the USB flash drive (or have been copied to the computer disk), and click "OK（确定）".

If the cor file is missing, please contact support@commarker.com with your machine model and SN code.

With Lightburn

We recommend saving different lens as different machines so you can simply switch in Lightburn after changing lens. 

If you haven't saved different lens as different machiens before, please:

1.Copy the folder “EZCAD for ComMarker B6” from the USB to the desktop

2. Click Devices, “Create Manuallyˮ, and select “JCZFiber”

Note: 

Make sure the machine is on and connected via USB

3.Click Import EZCAD Config and select the folder

4.Select folder “EZCAD for ComMarker B6”→“ Plug”, and choose “markcfg7” and click “next”

5.You can see the following window if everything goes right, and click "next" 

6. Change the name if necessary, and input the right X and Y Axis Length according to the lens. Click "next"

Note:

Please note that the specific data might vary based on the lens you are using.

7. Click “finish” and it will in the device list

8. You can see the saved new machine with the status “Ready”.

9. Go to “Basic Settings” from “Device setting” button, click “Load COR file”, Select “EZCAD for ComMarker B6”. Choose file ending in “.cor” which matched with the lens you are using, Click “OK”

10. Change the setting of Freq “Min 20”, “Max 200”. Switch on “Galvo 2”. And it is ready to control the machine with Lightburn.

If the cor file is missing, please contact support@commarker.com with your machine model and SN code, or do a 9 Point Correction by:

1.Go to Laser Tools → Calibrate Galvo Lens → 9 Point Correction (Easy).

2. Based on the popped-out window, enter the working area of your lens, and the size of the box to output. Click Next to continue to the next step. 

3. Enter the settings based on your material and lens.

4. Press up or down button to lift or lower the laser head until the two red light point overlap, this is the best focal point. 

The measuring focal length of this machine is: 

___________(70*70), ___________(110*110), 

___________(150*150),___________(200*200), 

___________(300*300) 

the measuring distance is the length from the bottom line of the laser head to the surface of the material. This parameter is measured manually, and each device has different focal lengths due to changes in laser sources and field lenses. 

5. Click the Frame button and verify that the size of the frame is valid, or return to the previous step using the Go Back button if you need to adjust the size.

6. Click Start to mark the design. Once finished, do not move it. Click Next to continue to the next step. 

7. Select the LightBurn Dragon that matches the orientation of the output from your laser. Click Next to continue to the next step.

8.   Take out the paper, Use the ruler to measure and enter the horizontal distances between lines, as shown in the graphic. Click Next to continue.

Tips: Using a vernier caliper can make the measurement more accurate.

9.  Measure and enter the vertical distances between lines, as indicated in the graphic. Click Next to continue. 

10. The final page displays the resulting corrections that will be applied to each axis. Click Done to save the data.

Scale check

1.Draw a square in Lightburn with a fixed size.

Note: 

In this guide, we will draw a 100 mm ×100 mm square. You can choose a size based on your lens and requirements. 

2. Click Frame and verify the position.

3. Click Start to begin engraving.

4. Measure the size. If there is a discrepancy between the actual engraved size and the set size, proceed the following steps.

5. Click the device setting icon

6. Click the little buttons beside the Galvo.

7. Click the above one and inter the Y-axis and click the bottom one to enter the X-axis

8. Engrave the square again and check if the size is correct. Repeat doing a correlation or scale check if necessarily.
