Follow the user manual to install ComMarker Studio and assemble the machine with the computer.
Remove the lens cap.
Power on the engraver.
1. Secure the material firmly on the platform to prevent jamming or curling during cutting. Ensure the red sensor dot lands on the surface of the material.
Note:
To protect your device, please place a backing board beneath it before focusing. The board should be flat and opaque. You may also purchase compatible Cutting Panel or a Metal Sheet Holder available at https://commarker.com.
2. Click the “Focus” button in the bottom-right corner of the interface to start autofocus.
Note:
If your material is transparent, place a piece of paper on the engraving area so that the red dot lands on the paper surface. Then perform the focusing operation.
3. Use “Drawˮ or “Vectorˮ or “Textˮ to import your design.
Note:
Fill needs to be disabled
3.1 (Optional) Build a bridge for inner shapes.
When cutting item with inner shapes, such as letter O or P, to keep inner parts attached:
1)Draw a small bridge using the Draw tool
2)Select both shapes
3)Go to Boolean → Subtract Top
This creates a clean connecting “bridge” while keeping the letter readable.
4. Input engraving settings based on Appendix 1.
Note:
If the settings panel does not appear, select the design from the Graphics list to activate it.
Note:
If you are unsure about the thickness or the appropriate number of cutting passes, select "Continuous" . The machine will keep engraving continuously.
⚠ Please monitor the process and turn off the machine manually when the cutting is achieved.
5. Click Preview.
Place the preview helper on the material to verify position and path.
Tips:
If the “Preview Contour” is Clicked, preview will show the outline of the processing objects.
If the “Preview Contour” is Unclicked, preview will show the rectangle border of the processing objects.
6. Once the preview is confirmed, remove the preview helper and close the safety door.
Click Start (F2) to begin cutting.
7. After cutting, wait for the laser to stop, then remove the workpiece and clean dirt from the platform
Note:
The workpiece may be hot after engraving. Please wear gloves or wait until it cools down before handling.
